Fully Restored, Custom Motobecane

It's in the works right now, but my friend is restoring a 1980 Motobecane Traveler. He's tearing it apart and rebuilding the engine, modifying it, and powdercoating the frame. I know these aren't many details to go off of but what would you pay for a professionally customized/restored Motobecane? I'll keep you all posted on the progress.

Re: Fully Restored, Custom Motobecane

if he's hoping to make money, tell him to stop now.

unfortunately, i agree.

Re: Fully Restored, Custom Motobecane

do you think he'd be able to get $500 out of it?

Re: Fully Restored, Custom Motobecane

People that want custom mopeds, want to build it themselves. I've tseen this and tried it and it almost always doesn't work out.

Probably better off restoring it to it's original condition.

Re: Fully Restored, Custom Motobecane

I think its a good idea to do but only if he wants to keep it or if he wants to sell it for profit restore it to original condition
