Need motobecane fork boots

Anybody got any? Anybody know where I can find a pair? Thought it was worth a shot...

Re: Need motobecane fork boots

I also need front fork dust covers. I found a pair online, but they were expensive and I've been too lazy to look more comprehensively.

Does anyone have an outlet, or the parts themselves?

Thanks.

Re: Need motobecane fork boots

Or maybe know of a boot from another ped that fits?

Re: Need motobecane fork boots

those are hard to find. all of the ones i had were roted!!

Re: Need motobecane fork boots

I managed to get a pair on ebay that weren't rotted, but they still wore out in a month. Not worth the money and effort in my opinion. They also aren't really necessary.

Re: Need motobecane fork boots

But it makes the bike look tougher. With a French bike, you want to take away some of the sexiness and make it look tougher. There's no way I want a troop of scag-hounds chasing me down the street because of my beautiful bike...

Re: Need motobecane fork boots

Sacre bleu! Take away the sexiness of a motobecane?! That's WHY you get a motobecane! :)

Re: Need motobecane fork boots

i have nos ones if you want to pay way too much for them.

Re: Need motobecane fork boots

The problem with NOS rubber parts is that they are still 30 year old pieces of rubber. It ages in the box.

Re: Need motobecane fork boots

I know, I have boxes of rotten grips from the 60s but these held up beautifuly.
