i'm hoping to cafe race out one of these 'lil buggers, but am open to a partially finished one.

ideally, though, i'm looking for a stock/moded magnum in decent condition.

daniel:

haha yeah the guy who wants $1000?

it's a sweet looking ped but he claims there is a bidding war,

and is asking $1200. i laughed at him :)

JJ Carter SR:

i looked, actually, and i am super sketched out about buying a vehicle on ebay.

i might, however source my bars from there...

clubmans look so sweet!

Re: WTB: Puch Magnum in SF

Re: WTB: Puch Magnum in SF

Re: WTB: Puch Magnum in SF

hey i don't have contact with any moped riders in my area; moved up here and haven't met anyone yet.

should i just start flagging down kids with sweet bikes?

Re: WTB: Puch Magnum in SF

hey where are you located?

even if you don't want to sell it, maybe you'd let me look at yours to see what to look for. i've done a little bit of work on an aprilia rs50 but im new to mopeds.

Im down in Santa Cruz but I can take a picture for you. its really quite pretty

Re: WTB: Puch Magnum in SF

kris,

The best way to run into a flock of us Creatures is to come down to the Edinburgh castle on a Monday night around 9:30.

That is our normal meeting time.

Magnums are well sought after in sf, you will be hard pressed to fund a cheep one. Most of the people that buy mopeds to fix up and sell have there hands in every part of this city looking for the good project bikes.

Good luck

Re: WTB: Puch Magnum in SF

yep i wanted a magnum but since i couldnt afford the price range they were in i just bought a maxi! it had 127 miles on it and i paid 350$

I shipped a Maxi MKII to California for less than $200. I looked and it was $175.96 to SAN FRANCISCO 94122. 48X22

Re: WTB: Puch Magnum in SF

will you ship?

Re: WTB: Puch Magnum in SF

isn't edinburgh castle a pub?

i'm not 21 yet, so i'll try to find you guys outside?

i live on 9th and california, and there are a bunch of mopeders

down the street. possibly creatures? i don't know, but i've been

talking to all the kids with cafe'd magnums as much as i could.

if you are down this way, and 'ped, l'd like to meet up.

but i'll probably just pick your brains about your magnum!

:) (or maybe we can ride when my aprilia is fixed)

I will ship no problem. I'm not sure if I can get it all to ya in one box though. I have the extra parts and all. I will have to keep it under 150lbs for UPS. The Maxi MKII I shipped to your area was around 145lbs in the crated carton. A Magnum weights alittle more.

Let me know and I can just weight the bike.

There's no bouncer at the door or anything, and we rarely all make it inside anyway. There is a healthy representation by Team 19 in our branch who come every week.
