1960 Motobecane for sale!!

1960 Motobecane Mobylette Moped Original Amazing! - $800

This Moped has only 105 Original miles on it! Everything is original and nice. I would want this to go in a shop for a display piece of history, or for a collector. This wouldn't be a daily rider.

Was running and I did ride it around about 2 or 3 miles to see if everything was working correctly. That was about six months ago. Now it won't start. Turns over fine, sounds and looks good.

Who's interested?

Thanks,

Christian Taylor

Re: 1960 Motobecane for sale!!

Same area. You're probably right. Funny how it has changed hands so many times in such a short time.

Re: 1960 Motobecane for sale!!

Re: 1960 Motobecane for sale!!

Just to give everyone a heads up on the bike.

I still own it.

I was trying too sell it in a hurry ($800) because I was going on a 2 week vacation and needed the money. But there's been so much trouble trying to get the title and registration straighten out that I still haven't sold the bike.

I'm back from my trip and the guy that was seriously interested I still waiting for me to figure out the registration problems.

And for those who are curious, the problem is that:

1. there wasn't a title when I got the bike (so you have to wait three years from the date of a new registration to get a real title issued)

2. the current registration is in John Abert's name and the bill of sale that I got from John was not notarized and in this case it has to be before I can switch the registration to me or anyone else.

3. I can't get a hold of John so I'm in limbo.

I can't register it, I can't sell it, I don't have room or time for it. But here it sits in my garage. :(
