WANTED: generic (cheap) Yamaha QT50 headlight

Greetings,

I'm looking for an inexpensive replacement headlight for my 1981 Yamaha QT50. On my old 1982 that I had awhile back, I had to replace it, and it was around $35; now it's up over $50, and I can't afford it!

Does anyone know of a compatible replacement headlight that'll work for me? The info printed on the back of the headlight is as follows:

Konto

110-71838

6V 20/20W

DOT

Thanks!

-Bob

Re: WANTED: generic (cheap) Yamaha QT50 headlight

I used a 25/25 watt in my nc50 You can get a socket that will work but you have to bend the tabs over or you would have to pop them togeather, I broke the big bulb out and used a dremel to trim it. just goes in and jb welded it to a grommet.

dratv search light bulbs.
