I thought folks might enjoy! It’s on Netflix!
Thanks...I'll watch that tonight. Whoever rented this moped to the studio now has a very valuable bike...
I was hoping for a moped chase scene, but no luck, you’ll enjoy the flick!
Definitely an Honda Express, or possibly a Karen depending on where in the world they sourced it from. Definitely not a US color or maybe not even any color they ever offered internationally either, could be custom paint job
Make sure you add this to the mopeds in film wiki!
The transmission cover is body color, so it's fair to assume it's a repaint.

I mean, its an eu plate...
I am actually buying this 1977 Honda NC50 next week. It’s at a dealership that buys movie cars and bikes.
k
those extras are all on it
This is the 1977 Honda express nc50 in the movie with a few of the other cars in the movie to prove it’s the real one. I bought it and 2 vintage VW engines from a dealer in south Atlanta that also stores Netflix movie cars and other items. Never owned a moped or motorcycle in my life due to wife not having it but she said since Ryan Reynolds’s rode it it was cool.😎 hit me up with questions. I am learning stuff about it now.
I have it
That’s awesome! It’s a great hobby so hopefully you’ll get to enjoy it and take it for a spin now and then. I own Italian mopeds so I don’t know anything about the Honda, but I have a CB750 so I know vintage Hondas are pretty rad! Great purchase!
man that's pretty cool
A few of the swoops and lots of our friends all work in/around the movies in ATL. At this point its almost unavoidable.
I'm not in atl anymore but if you wanna swing into town it's a good group, usually tuesdays are weekly rides
If you bought it as movie memorabilia, leave it as is, but if you're actually gonna ride it, try to get the airbox/filter so you don't run lean and seize up, new tires for safety, and a tail/brake light so you don't get pulled over or run over.
Hey Chris, thanks for the info. So I am learning a lot via manual and YouTube but there questions I need if you don’t mind. I saw how to change oil on the bottom end of the bike but what is the black cap for on top of the gas tank for? Should I use 2 cycle oil too? Thanks man
That would be awesome. Let me get her running properly and then it’s on. Do you know of a moped repair/maintenance around north Atlanta. I will do most of the work myself but something’s I need a pro. Thanks
the black cap is for the oil tank built into the gas tank, those bikes came with oil injection. see the little window on the side of the tank, that's your oil level. the divider between the gas and oil has been known to fail/leak.
there is so much info here on this bike, make sure you set the search function to All Dates.
Well, you can't use it or sit on it, you'll wipe the Ryan Reynolds right off.
Kind of useless bikes in today's traffic, liked mine, comfortable riding position, NO idea what a Ryan Reynolds is, but would not feel bad about wiping it off...no air cleaner or carb cover, or tail light, so not worth running anywhere except a campground, but with no air cleaner, why would you do that to the engine? Missing a lot, and a crappy repaint, it's wall art at best. Prob no battery so headlamp is likely blown. Title? You should have bought the engineless turtle top VW Baywindow, that at least could be something, granted at great cost.
I am selling this moped on eBay if anyone is interested. Thank you
awww....
