Need Honda Elite 250 dimensions, height/length

Brandon Weiss (Detective brandon to you) /

Does anybody have an Elite 250 that can get me some specific measurements? I plan on making a long drive to pick one up, and I need to make sure it will fit in my Honda Element. The rear opening is just over 40" high at the mouth, and gets taller inside at just over 45". I need a height measurement at the tallest point that isn't the windshield, which is the top of the dash I think. If it's close, deflating the front tire and compressing the forks can help to get it inside. Or maybe the front plastic can be removed? Not sure, never had one in front of me. Length probably won't be an issue. TIA

Totally normal JBOT /

Pretty sure it’ll fit if you lean it and remove mirrors. I don’t have any ch250s any more but I had a bunch over the years.

Too much power to be on 10inch rims. Got mine to 78mph once and it was terrifying

Re: Need Honda Elite 250 dimensions, height/length

If it is too tall you can remove the tires to transport it

Front wheel easy to remove. Rear wheel removal requires removal of the exhaust first.

I have a Honda Element and I used to own a CH250. I can't see it fitting without removing stuff.

Rear would be less likely to need to be removed ,but you do what you.have to do if needed.i was just.giving them options if needed (edited)

Good to know. I have a hitch carrier rated for 400lbs, an elite 250 is 280lbs or so, I think it would work instead of trying to stuff it inside.

Sounds like a plan

Re: Need Honda Elite 250 dimensions, height/length

If you pulled the seats out of the Element, (cool car btw) I think you could get it in there tilted, but if you have a hitch carrier I would try that first, congrats on getting a super cool bike in the ch-250!

I can measure in the morning if u still need? Sry, gotta order wings and p’za cause everyone’s yelling at me and it’s getting dark.

Re: Need Honda Elite 250 dimensions, height/length

Mmmmmmmmmmm pizza, it's quiet here (by design) but pizza is always in order!

Re: Need Honda Elite 250 dimensions, height/length

I am also a fan of shoving way too much in a small car. I rented some hatchback when I went to Minneapolis to get my CB160! I can't believe now I just folded down the seats and had the guy help me help me lay it in there!

Almost 10 years later I'm digging the family van. Took out the second row and had tie down points for this C70 I gotta few weeks ago for my wife for mother's day.

Your 250 and hitch carrier on the element (very cool, always wanted one btw) seem to work great. I'm shopping for a hitch carrier for my wrangler but harbor freight is always sold out.

Re: Need Honda Elite 250 dimensions, height/length

damn i want any of these.

a passport is kinda my dream right now, simple reliable classic

but theyre lunatic $$$ nowdays

And a big elite 250, hell yea. maxi scooter has long been on the wishlist. I would trade all my motorcycles for a decent maxi scooter.

I do have this aero125, but I really just want something clean and reliable

(OK, no i don't, i love trash...)

Picked this up a few weeks ago, I ended up putting it on my hitch carrier!

At 290lbs wet it was right at the tongue weight limit of the hitch receiver with the weight of the carrier.

Honda Elements rock! My 2009 Element has 212k miles on it and runs like new.
