Found a Yamaha seat in a snowbank looks like it's from a 250 or smaller. Front angle hook rear angle latch looks like a project to fit it on something maybe the colibre.

Wild what are some of everyone's best groundfinds?

I got a lotta straps and things, 2 pocket knives, my whole apocalypse scooter was adorned with nothing but roadside trash finds, even the paint was discarded rattlecans

Re: ground score...

I have found a mint ef Honda floor mat,a 36 inch flat screen that only needed a factory reset.A gallon gas can,an oil funnel.A lot of wrenches and tools.Trash day is good in a rich neighborhood.I got a desk,a kitchen table, the TV all from the curb that was put out with the trash.

Ratchet straps are one of my favorite, lot of tools around Columbus too. I've found name brand Vise Grips and several nice pairs of channel locks that were all in the road about 100 feet from one another, like they were falling out of a truck

Trash finds are a whole different ballgame, but yea still great. We yused to get ridiculous finds out of the end-of-schoolyear campus trash. But what I really love is the ones you'd miss in a car, some legitimately dropped, unintentionally discarded totally random finds. It's usually tools for me, and straps. Where you're cruisin along a leisurely 30 in the side of the lane and driving there's little chance you'd see it and no chance at all you'd turn around for it, but on a moped or bicycle, tap the brakes and check it out. Found a sodbuster once it was my favorite knife for a long time (until I lost it, probably unintentionally returned to the roadsides from whence it came)

On my daughters 3rd birthday i was driving home and spotted a bundle of balloons from a store's grand opening event that'd clearly gotten away, I pulled over, tromped out into the woods area i'd glimpsed them in and dragged em out all cold an wet (Nov 1). When I got em home they warmed up and started floating again, molly was pumped, she couldnt read yet to know they werent for her, and hell, they were for her. one man's trash...

I can make a bungie from here to nyc from all the trucks in the industrial logistics yards. Always missing one hook. And work gloves. I quit picking them up after I had all I could possibly use.
