Zero RPM Two-cycle.

Here's an interesting phenomenon. With the fuel cut down to the absolute minimum the engine fires, but not enough to get past the compression stroke which causes it to rock back and repeat the process. It's only possible for a two cycle engine.

Those old work engines are cool, they barely run until a load is put on them.

I’ve had this happen on my “diesel” model airplane engines by having the compression set too high.
