Wix is all they carried at the auto hobby shop and that’s what is on there at the moment.
I assume that the first start up with oil flowing flushed a ton more shit into the pan and the new filter is probably fully packed with metal.
I have only started it 3x and drove it about a half mile from the garage to a parking lot in front of my office.
Today, I am gonna put a new filter on and inspect how much of my engine is in the current filter 😕
While the engine does start, idle, drive fine. I can see she’s not well.
Right after starting, the computer does some calculations and raises the idle from 1000rpm, to 1200, to 1300, 1400, 1500... and then settles there.
It isn’t a choke thing, this definitely is new since the damage. Possibly compensating for lower than expected oil pressure.
