I just need it to pass safety inspection to move to New Mexico. Then I can do an engine swap. Still ticking at idle. That could be the trashed pump, worn bearings, con rods... Not really sure.
The relief valve is apparently very sensitive to debri. The crap circulating in the engine now could stick it again. I am going to change the oil and filter again tomorrow to see if I can eliminate some more trash.
One of those hard life lessons. At least the mystery of what exactly happened is solved. I can sleep better on that.
