$300,000 for old Missouri bunker on 15 acres. That’s double what acreage goes for in that area.

Re: Fortunately... Unfortunately

Fortunately, I got my Ducati motor rebuilt, and I think it's going to work. I'll know tomorrow. Done with it for today. It's burrito time.

Mice aside, that's cool as fuck.....why in the world do they want cams in there? Surprised there is still power?

Re: Fortunately... Unfortunately

Unfortunately, WillD spread the Prion disease to the Covid patients at Roffman’s house. Now they all stink and are moving on like a zombie swarm. They will seek out cool, dark, damp places to eat people (or horses) that they can get.

The cameras are so we can catch them.

Lol, they only got power because we ran a new service there. People cut out all the wire for scrapping. And the cameras are to keep out people who were cooking meth there. Or at least try and get info on them. I’m interested in how long before someone breaks in and takes cameras/equipment

Re: Fortunately... Unfortunately

Who owns the property? Just wire the place for demo, wait for the meth heads to set up shop, push the button and say goodbye! That is one awful drug....

Re: Fortunately... Unfortunately

A guy who co-owns this concrete additive company I work closely with owns a missile silo outside of Denver. it's pretty nuts but also pretty unfinished. it's a ton of work and shitty ventilation and really inconvenient but at least it's interesting. it's actually kindof an enormous shitty mess and def not what i'd spend 3 mil on. he wants to make it into a fancy underground garage for his Porsche collection. fuckn rich people - yeesh

Re: Fortunately... Unfortunately

I pity rich people like that. A little.

If I had the money to just buy my time back, that’s all I would need and check out.

Go do my thing. No schedule. No rules.

If I had a Porsche, I would drive the thing. Not build it an underground home with its friends while I stay a slave to the debt.

Make some money and go enjoy it. Let some young buck have a chance to make it too.

I guess it’s an addiction or compulsion. If there was a cave full of gold bars, would you go grab as many as you could carry and go enjoy your life? Or spend the rest of your life a slave to moving gold bars to a vault?

Rant over.

Unfortunately I can’t remember where the thread left off.

Re: Fortunately... Unfortunately

I did a hardwood job which Was is pretty much the whole 1st floor of the house, anyway the guy invented the Flowmaster which If you know what it is, is a handheld device that dispenses like 10/12 different beverages, Whatever you press a button and it dispenses whatever, Coca-Cola, water 7-Up you name it,

Anyway he was a pilot certified for twin engines As well as instrument certification/ night time, any Weather You name it but after a few close callshe gave up planes and Went with Sports cars mostly Italian, Porsches 928’s everything specially! You name it,

He would pre-order two at a time paying 280k or more late80s prices or eight times that amount nand drive them for a couple hundred miles and end up selling them for 15-20k more he paid for them because the rich people who didn’t wanna pre-order one when they could just buy it right from him so that was his living after he gave up planes angsold all his patents to the Flowmaster!

It was amazing if were a Motörhead! Man You name it!

What a life! like I always said (the richer you are the richer you become) but after several close calls he came up he gave up planes Altogether

And Went with Porsches and Italian cars like Ferraris, Lambro’s all that high price crap,

He pre-order two or more cars at a time (he had a five car garage well actually a three car garage and another two car garage) paying 280k to 2m and driven them for a couple hundred miles and ended up selling them for up 30k more he paid for them because the rich people didn’t wanna pre-order they could just buy it right from him on whim so that was his living after he gave up planes, It was amazing True to drive the first generation cars as they came out and sell them for more than list price

I went for a ride with him on a 218mph Porsche but it was kind of lame because he was a afraid to get a ticket after he was warned in his city to do speed limit after several warnings!
