They should just hold up signs that say "we want free shit"
To be fair, kids these days are now encouraged to amass as much debt as they can because it will "better their life." I listen to the Dave Ramsey show all the time, and the majority of callers have the bulk of their debt in student loans or bloated car loans. The notion of government bail outs and welfare would be appealing if you cant make rent... granted i believe thats just a band-aid to a much bigger problem. I do feel boomers coddled a throw away market which amazes me that many are from the "hippy" movement. So to be clear, i think everyone is at fault here. The parents that miss-directed their children along with the impulsive child wanting that over-inflated degree & flashy car.
I do have some slight optimize in some of the younger generation. It does seem to me that there is a shift from quantity to quality. It does seem to me that the younger consumer does care to a degree about how & where something is made. So maybe we will see a decline in the walmarts!
