Red dwarf rules.
When I was a kid I fixed up an old B&W TV from a yardsale so I could watch Red Dwarf on PBS after bedtime. Like that show was my motivation.
I also watched a lotta Mr. Bean and Are You Being Served on PBS around that time, we lived with my grandma and she really like AYBS. She'd also watch Walker Texas Ranger which I thought was hillarious, this tiny (I mean like 4' 6" in her bent old age) little mouse with her fluffy bluish hair, a very proper bostonian accent and the best "garden club" 70's polyester suits you'd ever seen - picture queen elizabeth with more 70's flare. And she watches 2 "programs", are oyu being served, and Walker. It was something she talked about with her brother Coly.
Coly was a naval pilot trainer for warships and later a NJ state congressman and savvy investor, who adored the over-the-top machismo and theatrics of the show - me, I just loved how insanely ridiculous it was - girl lost in the woods with a dozen armed guards? Luckily walker is somehow in a tree right above them to take 6 out with a single roundhouse kick.
