Re: Got me a big OLD 2stroke

Nice, I dig the front mounted bike hauler

Re: Got me a big OLD 2stroke

Nice gas pump too. Gilbarco?

Re: Got me a big OLD 2stroke

nice yami

Re: Got me a big OLD 2stroke

Cool bike for sure! i would think that setup would be illegal for obstructing field of vision however..and no I'm not a cop, LOL, just been harassed by a few.(edited)

Pretty cool, I had one in high school.

Re: Got me a big OLD 2stroke

Looks like the back tires are about off the ground on that lil Sammy. The bike probably outweighs it.

Re: Got me a big OLD 2stroke

Nice bike, 99% of those trucks did not last 10 yrs before returning to the Elements. :/

well i have another on the rear but my rear bumper is a little sketchy mounting wise so anything heavier then a moped or reallllly old small scooter, i dont like putting back there

funny you say that, i put a '93 ninja 500 on the back rack in the fall and it was SKETCHY. i didnt try it, but im 99% sure if i launched it in 1st that should would lift the front wheels hahaha so with the heavier bikes i put em on the front now

Moped Lar (OFMC) /

I wanted to buy a brand new Samurai back in 1986, but my wife (now ex) wouldn’t let me because of its alleged propensity to rollover. I should have bought it because it turned out to be a bunch of bs.(edited)

They were cool. There were 1 or 2 rollovers probably from people driving stupid and after that they were hard as hell to insure.

I have a Suzuki 250, more or less the same except premix.(edited)

Re: Got me a big OLD 2stroke

Had a friend that rolled one. Or tipped it, anyway. Slid down the highway and grinded half his arm off.

Saw another one tip taking an off camber turn in the street way too fast. Went like 50 feet on its side.

Ford thought they could make an SUV that could roll over more times than the Japanese competition. They suceeded.

Re: Got me a big OLD 2stroke

If you drive an SUV like a sports car, that will happen.

Re: Got me a big OLD 2stroke

There's just something about the sound of a multi cylinder 2 stroke motor.

Re: Got me a big OLD 2stroke

The Suzuki is really quiet and smooth. Shifts real smooth. Electric start is by dynamo so it's real quiet without the usual clatter.

Re: Got me a big OLD 2stroke

Samurai is the best thing and old 2 strokes are close 2nd. Killer. Front rack is sweet too, I just uncomfortably squash shit in the back cuz softy

Re: Got me a big OLD 2stroke

Oddly I've never came close to tipping... maybbeee it's the 31"s on stock suspension? I go offroading all the time and she always does great

Twin 2 strokes do sound amazing... this one is good but my rz350 takes the cake!

Re: Got me a big OLD 2stroke

ayyyy question.

this key has 4 positions... besides the 1st (off) i dont know the order or what the other 3 spots would be. i have a feeling two of them are ON and ON w/Lights, but idk if they would be the 2/3 spots or 3/4, then i also dont know what the other spot would be ?

Any ideas ?

I am guessing, if it follows other typical Japanese stuff:

Off

On

Parking Lights

Fork Lock(?)

To bad you didn't pick up your 2 cylinder 2t bike in a 3 cylinder 2t 4wd Suzuki

They aren't impossible to find over here, they were imported into Cali in the 70's.

Most of the ones I've seen are off, on w/o headlight, headlight, park.

sweet! possibly stupid question... but what does "park" entail ?

Re: Got me a big OLD 2stroke

Pushrod Fifty /

Tailight only, for parking at night.

Re: Got me a big OLD 2stroke

^ but only for a little bit right, I mean what is the point of leaving the light on to come back to a dead battery? Maybe a non=us regulation? Never heard of this "feature" before.
