People who call cars sexy.......

Are you actually sexually attracted to the machines? Are you actively looking for a spot to insert? What in the actual fuck??? How is a car sexy??? Retarded and weird..... I don't know why people say that... it seems to be the boomers mostly..

Re: People who call cars sexy.......

That, and calling things "her" or "she". I never got it and always thought it was stupid.

Re: People who call cars sexy.......

I had a 96 Impala SS. Till it got stolen. That was a sexy car. Sometimes much sexier than the chicks I brought home in it...

“Sexy” is only skin deep. Underneath it’s just another fugly attention whole.

Re: People who call cars sexy.......

Drop me off on a deserted island and eventually even the thought of a fugly girl would be sexy... but I'd have to have a coconut land on my head to find an upside down bathtub with a floor shifter and mags "sexy".... weird.. I just don't get how a car can be considered sexy. . . anyhow sorry to burst your "bubble" -- see what I did there?

Kidding aside those cars represented the end of an era, last GM RWDs made. . shame they stopped.

Re: People who call cars sexy.......

You mentioned it being a boomer thing or with the older people..just to move you in time a bit when you get older what will the younger people think when you say something is rad,or dope,or sick...none of the above would be your actual meaning but just became the craze for the era same with sexy .not that you want to go to bed with it but really like the look (edited)

And think you're right and it already has.....with the young people now using the word "mint" incorrectly.

Re: People who call cars sexy.......

Referring to a car as being sexy probably doesn't mean that the speaker is sexually attracted to the vehicle.

It probably just means the speaker was using the figure of speech known as personification.

Most native English speakers who are at least of average intelligence understand this. However, the concept could in fact be lost on non-native speakers who don't have full command of the language yet, as well as native speakers who are dull-normal, or who are on the spectrum for autism. (edited)

It's not that I don't understand the concept of personification It's the difficulty in understanding how a car can appear to be sexy, or the unwillingness to assign the term to an inanimate object. I reserve sexy for well, people I find sexually attractive. I'd like it to stay that way. Calling a car sexy is just weird.

Though, mean or menacing, or dorky, or even cute I get... but sexy, no, just no that's for people you want to have sex with,, not cars.

To each his or her own, but you sound pretty bored, uptight, and closed off to a harmless concept that you don't agree with, my dude. Are you sure you're not a stodgy old Boomer trapped in a Millennial's or Gen Z-er's body?

EDIT: 7 posts on a new account, and not only are none of them on the topic of mopeds, but none of them are even mildly entertaining on any level.

I miss the old days of the OT where trolls actually had game. (edited)

Re: People who call cars sexy.......

Me being lame is another subject, we're talkin' "sexy" cars here sir.

Re: People who call cars sexy.......

It's just another word. Like people saying "sick" to describe something they like. If you say, "yo, sick moped, dude," you're really saying "hey cowboy, your bicycle with a motor isn't running very well."

And now, language is so bastardized, that nothing means anything anymore. So if someone wants to call their car sexy, who cares?

In your posts, you typed "what in the actual fuck..." And "me being lame..."

You never have to use the word "actual" or "actually" in a sentence. Ever. Try it. Any sentence you use it in, remove it, and it's the same sentence. Only better.

And unless you are physically disabled, you're not really "lame."

Talking attractive, sought after, sexy cars...………………...here's one type that has more curves than Gina Lollobridgida. LOL!

Questions calling cars sexy: immediately describes the act as "retarded."

You attempt to instigate conversation fell flat, due in part to the incredulous nature of your thesis statement.

Re: People who call cars sexy.......

I didn't see `retarded' used in this thread.

Holden made rwd for a while, they just got the plug pulled, it is a shame, That model Impala SS was a beautiful car, loved everything it represented, the interior was cheap, but the car was solid, I'm not a fan of mags either, but those were nice looking, too bad they made green ones, the ONLY color for that car was black. :) The Police version was the same thing with steel wheels and an even worse interior, but still a beast of a car. A Black SS is on my bucket list of cars to own. One year had a column shit, I prefer that. Yeah, it's sexy, but nothing is "lit" a way dumber expression in mho.

First post.

Re: People who call cars sexy.......

Woah they made a manual column shift ss? That has to be like the last column shift manual ever right? I loved the old Saabs column shifter.

Re: People who call cars sexy.......

It was not a manual shift transmission, just an automatic on the column as the good lord intended. lol. :)

Re: People who call cars sexy.......

So, you had the Saab 4 spd on the tree? Cool! But I can't drive that, Had a dodge van with a 3 on the tree, I could never get the gear position right, smashed it up trying to parallel park it. Sold it after 3 weeks of ownership. On the floor, I can shift any manual, but on the tree? It eludes me. :) I have no issue with the clutch, but trying to envision the pattern of the gears on the tree is beyond me. I'm dumb like that.

Re: People who call cars sexy.......

Re: People who call cars sexy.......

She was born in 1925,I think. BEAUTIFUL actress and model. Curves like the Cobra.

Re: People who call cars sexy.......

Overpriced Parts /

Dodge/Plymouth winged cars like Plymouth Roadrunner superbird damn!

Though I prefer the older and rarer 69 Dodge charger Daytona

C6251618-2179-4DE7-AEE0-4F16577D3A30.jpeg

Only because if had $500 more saved I would have owned one for there was a complete running one one in a used car lot when I was almost 17 years old,

The original hemi engine in it was blown so they threw a 318 with a 904 tranny in it in and it had Earl Scheib paint job for $1000, I had around 500$ but my father wouldn't lend me the rest of the money (He wouldn’t lend me even $20) he said the cops would see that wing from miles around as an excuse,

My father had bad taste in cars, If I had that Daytona now in the shape it was in then, being original hemi car (which means it had reinforced frame and other differences) even though the original drivetrain was missing it could be worth 3-400k or more

The interior of the 96 SS was actually pretty nice. All leather and comfy, but with enough support to keep you in the seat in corners. I'm 5'7 and could lie down fully in the back seat.

The 94-95s had a front bench seat. I couldn't imagine driving that. That car cornered amazing for such a big monster, and you'd end up against the passenger door if you took a hard left.

The 96 had the center console shift. The 94-96 had the column.

Black was the only way to go. They made maroon ( think they called it rose wine?) And green, but those looked like crap.

They made a slate blue one, too, but pretty rare color. Those ones look pretty good.

Mine got stolen from my driveway in 2005 (I think.) One day I'll own another.
