Re: Help me find my dream car

I'd love to find a first gen (75-79) Honda Civic Wagon.

Re: Help me find my dream car

We had a 2nd Gen Civic wagon with 2 speed Hondamatic - drove it until the body basically just fell apart.

We also had a 1st Gen cvcc sedan and a 600 sedan before that.

He's one of the "also a parent but our kids get along so lets be friends" friends, but one of the good ones. He's also friends with Justin Malkert? Who was maybe in a band with you at some point? AND he went to school with megan's sister. what a small world.

^ God, I forgot all about those, (blotted from my brain) lol, they are like the Motobecane of cars, super weird, nothing makes sense, but if you have them right they work and are pretty cool, 3 lug nuts per wheel? Super psychotic cooling system, but again, if you do as instructed, it works, and nothing like it on the road! :)

Re: Help me find my dream car

Ok, have a winner here, Toyota Previa, preferably AWD, huge plus if 5spd! Do anything, run forever, and super odd! Ped and Family hauler! The trick will of course be finding one...lol.

Re: Help me find my dream car

Swoops have multiple previa haha, I haven't had one but I would

Re: Help me find my dream car

I was considering heading up to northern AZ to swoop a '72 Jeep DJ-5 postal. The ones I like are the AMC-era ones with the sixes and the Chrysler A727 trans (second choice would be a '68-'70, as they had the Chevy Thriftmaster 153 CI 4-cyl, with a Power-Glide). They're cheap to obtain, parts are still fairly plentiful, and they are super-easy to fix.

He has it adverted for $1200. He already said he'd take $1k for it, so to me, that means $900. It runs and drives, and has a solid body (something that is often times not a luxury in OH).

I'm probably going to pass, as I really want to focus on getting my '66 Ambassador 880 100% roadworthy, and on building my Honda Camino. I don't need any more hee-hawed fuckpiles in my yard to complicate my life any more than it already is. ;)

His pictures weren't very good...this is the best one:
