A guy, fat dan the junk man wants to dump it off on me for $40. Not that I need it, prolly fix it and pass it along. What the heck is it? Thanks for playing.
Name that bike!
Re: Name that bike!
Well, it's a Honda C70.. Worth 40 bucks to sell parts off of. Get it!
Re: Name that bike!
Passport, totally worth it, slam shift 70cc.
Re: Name that bike!
Honda Passport.
Stuff it in a medium flat rate box and send it to me please.
Re: Name that bike!
Thanks a lot guys! I’ll cut it in 4” squares so it’ll be cheaper. Ha!
It’s missing a few parts on the chain side.
Not sure if I should swing a hobbit engine to convert it to chain or find the 4 stroke parts. I have a nice 72cc Parma kit with a new crank, not sure if it’s worth it. The front drum brake is nice.

Re: Name that bike!
It's related :)
Re: Name that bike!
So, uh...are we just gonna ignore the obvious here?
Illuminati confirmed.
Re: Name that bike!
man i pieced one of them together a couple years back here, good news i was able to find/buy all the parts pretty easy, bad news they have a ton of parts... so many parts
at that point i'd either go full rat or just part the thing out or put it on CL for some guy who needs a parts bike.
even though they knockoff the engines super cheap, i still think a nice clean OG honda bottom end is worth more.
Re: Name that bike!
"bad news they have a ton of parts... so many parts"
All those stripped JIS screws, tiny oring seals, gaskets that have to be NOS or they won'r work right, 6V/12V heads, valves, UGH. . very expensive.
People just stick lifan's on them, but even they aren't cheap, and have random quality control.
For being the most common vehicle in the world, ordering parts and paying for them sucks so bad.
Re: Name that bike!
I might weld the engine to a hobbit frame soon. :) Thad be fun.
Wet paint!
The kid wants it purple. He’s a good kid in the nayborhood I’d put it together for him. Weld n hack the thing together would be neat so he can have a ride with us. For $40 I’ll make a moped out of a uhhh well it says moped in kbb. Ha

motors a honda
Re: Name that bike!
Nice hobbit swap! Is that head gonna clear the front wheel?
Re: Name that bike!
A #2 phillips with a bit of the tip ground off works very well on those JIS screws.
Re: Name that bike!
Hah, have that exact bike....always wished it had more than 3 gears tho....it could use a 4th

Re: Name that bike!
Long Live the Assport! My favorite bastardization of them all. +1 if it's actually faster than a real passport.

Nice, foot pegs seem kind of far back?
Re: Name that bike!
That was from the passport long seat. There’s a piece missing kickstand/footpegs bracket I’m guessing,, that bolts to the bottom of the engine like a puch. It has to have it for foot placement while shifting and rear foot brake. I showed home the headlight and bezel on ebay so he’s saving up,
