MOPED ARMY

We'll see if it even has enough power. It's just an idea I was like that might be kind of fun to mess with. I'll have to shave off as much weight as I can and build a different setup drive train wise. Different frame and such. I'll post up progression as I jump into it.

I think it will lack power and the gearing will be off. I advise against it as it will be a alot of work with likely poor performance results. But to each his own! If you do it, post pics.

My town holds Outlaw Lawn Dragster lawn mower races every year as part of our All Wheels Weekend celebration. But t they have waaaay more power than you can get out of a moped. They're running 750-1000 cc street bike engines. It's insane.

That said, it's way outta league for a moped engine.

I’m building a mower, shortened the front and back, 38 1/2” wheel base. 500cc 17.5hp Briggs with GY6 belt to hydrostatic transmission. Finished the foot lever earlier.

Mowed the neighbors lawn testing it out. Not too shabby, a few welds broke here and there,

I changed the transmission in the little Snapper for a Tuff Torq K46. Thats belted to the 17hp, I hope it kicks ass! the last 2 transmissions got destroyed within hours. My son was riding a power wheels to the grocery store, he needs a faster ride so he don’t get ran over ya know.

I put the mtd pulley on my moped.

I thought I was done, stayed up late hacked the transaxle mounts off then turned the thing around so it runs forward. Hacked some junk into the linkage. Damn kids! Where’s my test dummy

Thanks, it’s. K64 tuff torq transaxle out of a John Deere L118. Way better than the old mechanical snapper drive system. I found the best mower seat, urban Express seat can’t go wrong! Mini renthal bars, it’s running an urban belt too. Ha!

My son won’t get off the game, I’m out here trying to make mowing fun for him. Bastid

Mower tires mounted on power wheels plastic rims. 18v dc battery in that one. It might get a lift kit. Hahaaa!
