I remember these original Superballs being darker... they've never lost their appeal after 52 years.

Stompers

I was a bit old for them, but still bought a few and loved'em all the same.

Not long thereafter someone came out with a clone called "Rough Riders" .

People usually forget that before Transformers there were Go-bots

Re: Things you had as a kid that are now inexplicably popular again

I had a bunch of big Tonka trucks. I had a real cool Corgi die-cast Batmobile with a trailer and the Batboat. It was a lot bigger than Hotwheels cars. It had these little plastic rockets that it would shoot out, back when toys could take your eyes out. I still have the Corgi James Bond Aston Martin DB5 with ejector seat and machine guns, tire slashers that pop out. I have a Space 1999 Eagle spaceship too. Corgi made some really cool diecast stuff.

I had a bunch of those Aurora monster models and Star Trek ships too. I still have an original Aurora Dr Jeckle /Mr. Hyde that never got put together. I had some big Dinosaur kits that they made too. I was big into models as a kid hell I still build them now.

Re: Things you had as a kid that are now inexplicably popular again

Another few , if you would . "Air + Water" and food .... These will NEVER go out of style ...

Re: Things you had as a kid that are now inexplicably popular again

Awe the DB5, with the ejector. hahhaa I loved it! I had it too. Lights worked too, if I remember right. Corgi did make awesome toys. I want their little 63 Buick Riviera so badly! I keep eyeing them on ebay.

Wait...wut? Are you you talking about a childhood filled with chiva addicts or a Wonder Woman /Supergirl fixation?

Re: Things you had as a kid that are now inexplicably popular again

heroine would be the latter

Re: Things you had as a kid that are now inexplicably popular again

heroine --- a woman admired and emulated for her achievements and qualities American heroines such as Eleanor Roosevelt and Rosa Parks remembered as the heroine of the flood

heroin --- a strongly physiologically addictive narcotic C21H23NO5 that is made by acetylation of but is more potent than morphine and that is prohibited for medical use in the U.S. but is used illicitly for its euphoric effects

ho·mo·phone --- A homophone is a word that is pronounced the same as another word but differs in meaning, and may differ in spelling. The words may be spelled the same, such as rose (flower) and rose (past tense of "rise"), or differently, such as carat, caret, and carrot, or to, two, and too. Homophones that are spelled the same are also both homographs and homonyms.[1] Homophones that are spelled differently are also called heterographs. The term "homophone" may also apply to units longer or shorter than words, such as phrases, letters or groups of letters that are pronounced the same as another phrase, letter or group of letters.

and this will be on the test (edited)

ya know, the wedge-sole redwing thing really caught me by surprise, my dad always had those growing up and i thought they were lame as fuck and still do.

seriously if you're not using them to mow the lawn wearing khaki pocket shorts and tall white tube socks with your shirt tucked in, i don't even know why you own them.

is capsella cool? wtf is that about. the boats were pretty cool.

Maybe not so much cool as super expensive on eBay. I need that boat.

I remember I had some kind of geared transfer globes that powered a car I think.
