What kind of moped would you take in trade?

Re: FS: Range Rover Evoque 2012

Sorry man, I'll just pay 22 dollars for it. I bet you want one with a real-sized motor in it, huh. 2 litres is pretty itty bitty for moving such a rig. Who are you? (edited)

Re: FS: Range Rover Evoque 2012

Why do cars/suvs/trucks all look like electric razors anymore...

Re: FS: Range Rover Evoque 2012

Why does EVERYTHING look like everything else... My biggest question for the designers that seem to exist today.

Re: FS: Range Rover Evoque 2012

Because they are designed on comps for aerodynamics. Those things are not very big, the right 2 litre could move it.

Re: FS: Range Rover Evoque 2012

Oh, it'd move it... but you'll sit at stop signs longer, wondering if you can actually get out there. Kinda like a moped.

Appears that it's the Ford Ecoboost 2 liter. From the specs, it looks like it's capable of roughly 250 horsepower. It may get up and boogie.

Re: FS: Range Rover Evoque 2012

It should, that thing is not a "real" range rover, it is light.

Re: FS: Range Rover Evoque 2012

They are plenty fast enough. Trust me. I had one on demo last month at work (the 190hp diesel version). Handles well and any doubters about its off road ability should seek out BBC Top Gear's review by James May done somewhere in the land of the "free".

Re: FS: Range Rover Evoque 2012

i watched that....but still not a "real" Range Rover :)

Re: FS: Range Rover Evoque 2012

It's a Freelander underneath. However, Rangies are made by LR, so I guess they can call them what they want. After all, the previous generation RR Sport was a Discovery underneath.

It's not badge engineering, it's brand engineering.

Years back when they designed a car around aerodynamics they looked cool. Not ugly.

You also didn't need to actually read the badges to know what the make and model was and could guess what year it was within a year or two. Now i'm lucky if i even guess the right decade.
