Wow! I have an RCA tabletop exactly like that one in the bottom pic. My mom bought it new in about 1947 or so. My brother totally reconditioned the cabinet. I need to re-cap it. (replace the old paper capacitors)

Wow, I just had a flashback of when I was a kid and we'd be driving up to some motel while on a road trip in the late 60's. I never knew there was a name for that style. I always thought it was called Nifty 50's or 60's and simply covered the turquoise panel loving era.

i think that a 1956 Cadillac El Dorado Biarritz Convertable Baby Pink in color with a red and white leather interior and black top is all googie.
