Kinda. Sorta. But no. Posted a different pic before, but I like this one better. Plus I hadn't ridden it yet. This thing is really something. 500cc 2-stroke. 5 speed. Piston port, points, oil injecting, real basic. 1974. It can go 60mph (easily) in 2nd gear. Top speed is apparently around 120-125, but I'll never see that, thank god. Lots of fun. Smokes well, and sounds amazing. Got expansion pipes for it this week. Can't wait to throw those on. There's nothing like hitting a powerband at 55mph. Good lord.

The pipes with jetting will wake it up. I like it as is, nice shape for its age. Save the old pipes and protect them from rusting, hard to find in good shape.

beautiful condition! any other plans for the bike cosmetically? cafe'd out or a nice comfy stock look?

Nope, not really any more plans. Might even put the cool rack on the rear again. These bars are lower than stock. I thought about clubmans, but I like the control of these better. The pipes are going to make an already scary power band, even scarier. It's insane. When it hits, you have to hold on for dear life. If I was a better rider, I'll bet this thing does 0-60 in 6ish seconds. Not bad for a 420lb bike!
