$850 is cheap, but probably has bad drainage or in a "dip". In the Town of Colma, a bit south of San Francisco, famous for it's many cemetaries, a pair of furture burial plots can cost upwards of $20K. It is not uncommon for families or relatives to purchase entire rows and sections at a time. Often plots are sold off later due to divorces or other circumstances.

I paid $50, with perpetual care. This is in Rose Valley, PA . That's cheap, even for around here but I guess it does depend on where you live.
