I did homebrew for about 5 years but haven't done any for about 6 years .

I have done extract , all grain , all grain/extract mix.

I have made pale ale , cream ale,pilsner,bock,stouts and wheat .

I have used bottles , cornius kegs, and 1/4 barrels .

I always wanted to make a batch on Mead .

stouts: Old Rasputin Imperial, Left Hand Fade to Black, Brooklyn Black Chocolate, BBC Jefferson Reserve Barrel Stout

IPA's: Dogfish Head 60/90/120, Bell's Two-Hearted, Founder's Centennial

cheap: Pabst, Miller Genuine Draft, Tecate, Mickey's, Little Kings

lately i've been trying fruit lambics. Upland Brewing Co. has a bunch of really good ones.

stay above $4, i suggest something a little dry.

dude, quatto. old rasputin has become one of my favorite stouts. so good.

Blatz is the national beer of Wisconsin. It's cheap and tastes like sweet honey.

Sparks is a hollow farce of its former glory. it's become the Sammy Hagar'd Van Halen of malt beverages. I can still enjoy it, but i only give it the benefit of the doubt because it used to rock my world and i want to be nostalgic.

for a cheap beer, it actually tastes pretty decent.
