Well Brennan,
For not trying to be a dick, your sure good at it. Yes the car was bought by my Father as a father/son project when I was 15. The car was hit in the front passenger fender and the frame was bent so he got the car cheap because it could never be aligned properly form where the frame was bent. We ordered a new frame out of Chevy garage for about $990. Pulled the body off the frame, undoing the 8 body bolts(let me know if want exact locations). Using a winch suspended from the garage roof and four straps with I-bolts, the body was suspended from the rafters and the new frame was placed next to the old frame and all suspension components were cleaned, rebuilt, repainted and placed on the new frame. When complete, the body work began. A friend of my father who worked at a body shop(yes a professional) was looking for some freelance work and on nights and weekends, we stripped, sanded, primered and prepped the body. The RM irridescent gold was shot first and the black was shot second. The whole car was wet sanded( first with 600 then 100) and 8 coats af RM 2K clear were applied next. The clear was then wet sanded and buffed. The car was assembled taking two years of daily work and I drove it to my prom. I also drove the car during summers while attending University of Pittsburgh getting a BA in Psychology. I accepted a job and moved out of town for 5 years getting my career started. I drove the car very little over the next ten years while getting married, buying a house and raising two children. The car was in a climate controlled environment while in storage on the second floor of a NAPA auto parts store that belongs to a friend. I got the car back out about three years ago and put on new brakes, shocks tires and fluids. My fathers garage has also produced a 1930 Model A coupe with a 400 SB chevy, 1929 Model A two door sedan and a 1931 Model A roadster which my father still owns. He also has a 1964 1/2 Mustang that he put a SB 400 Chevy motor in. Oh, in case you didn't know, SB stands for small block. Now, the next time you decide to open your mouth on that pimply face, make sure you have all the facts. Hasn't your mommy taught you it's not polite to call people liars? DId you need any other pictures?
