I don't care what anyone says about hipsters, but don't put don't down the Decemberist. They make decent music... most of the time.

The Decemberists are really nice people, but I can't get past multiple uses of the word "pantaloons" in one album, in different songs.
Super short shorts were "in" like, 2 or 3 years ago. They should only be worn ironically during either intense party situations, or when near water.
I'd rather hang with a hipster in short shorts than a juggalo in some JNCOs.

When you are hearing about something like this from a main stream news source it's a dead give away that it's not hip anymore.
Usually when someone complains about some hipster trend on moped army it's a dead give away that it was "hip" 3+ years ago and they have no clue what's going on.
