Well, the Everest was bought in Germany by my father's neighbor in the late 50s and brought over. My grandfather bought it from the neighbor, and passed it to his son. About twelve years ago, I remember Dad riding this Everest around town, and in the back roads (I live in an area with a lot of country). Just a neat old bike--I plan to post some pictures. The engine is a Zundapp, and I think there are some Italian markings on this bike as well. I'll have to post more info on it.
The Vespa Boxer sorta resembles some of the Motobecanes with a large oblong seat. Square headlight...I don't know much about this one at all. Dad bought it for Mom, but she never really took to it. Dad told me that he no longer cared what happened to it, so I think I'm going to claim it and see if I can get it running.
The Wellbike (is that pronounced as if it were German?) is really a relic. Complete and original. I have no idea if it runs or not, but I imagine that it would, given some time to clean it. I don't know where it came from, but I do know that Dad has had offers to buy it, and he's refused. A couple of years ago, he told me that if he ever got rid of it, he'd probably donate it to a museum or something. But, now it appears that it's actually worth some money! Any Wellbike enthusiasts here?
I'll try to get pictures, but it won't be soon. I have to take conventional pictures and take them to a friend who has a scanner. Sigh....
