Hi! If you're talking piston rings you have to have how many the bike manual says(probably 2 or 3) .Are you talking piston rings? You're not talking about a gasket or something else are you? An engine without a full piston ring would start hard and run terrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiible.If your piston rings are gone, you'd better look really close at the piston too. Sounds like somebody took it apart and THREW it back together. Getting new rings would depend on what type bike you have: JAP or EURO or ASIAN. BYE!
