Hi,Guys! I've been thinking about this a little and I think I might just go with a double-pole switch,so that it totally separates the battery from the charging coil.I'm a little worried about backfeeding amperage into the charging coil.I ride a lot at night, and I wouldn't want to damage the lights I've got. This way if you're going to have to run at a slow speed or idle for an extended period you just flip the switch and you've got a bright set of lights. When you park the bike later ,just plug a trickle charger into the battery.I'd rather do it Richard's way but I'm unsure of myself. If it works ,Richard, let me know.O.K.?
