Hey MA, I just bought a 1981 Derbi Laguna Sport and am interested in how many of these are out there and what fellow Laguna enthusiasts are doing with their bikes.

most people make them faster. I mean that bike doesnt really look like it should go just 28mph.
You don't want that thing, Sell it to me. :p
spray paint it pink, get cute girls into mopeds
I have 1, all original so far. cracked fairing in the front
will have something special for the kit soon. I like the dual rear brake set up with the brake pedal and on the bars also the tachometer
I have 2 one is in my profile pic the other is a work in progress
Only 3 actual owners so far. C'mon share your experiences with your Laguna.
Laguna Enthus here... I got 2... one for sale (hit me up) and one complete (100%) that I found on a random c-list find in Philly...
Best looking bikes out there for sure...
Screw you guys. I hate you all.
I'm with Tate, Except I don't wanna screw ya, I just hate you. :p
^ What he said.
I have one. It's being modified slightly at the moment. Photos when I finish the project.

man
so few Derbi Lagunas out there
you guys are truly the moped aristocrats of MA
the true cognescenti
i only can wish.
i only have variant
What I don't get: why does the sexiest derbi have the piston port engine????
Its like selling a TSM with a 102 motor on it.
^word^ when i found out they had the pp motor and not the pyramid or flat reed i was like .....WHY?
Flat reeders came to the US around 1985. All of the Lagunas I've seen have been from 1981.
Aint nothing wrong with the piston port engine.
Haha yea, Laguna's always steal the spotlight away from C5/RD50's!
its easy to turn a c5 into a laguna (or at least something very similar)
id take a C5 or a RD50 over a laguna any day personally. you can always change an engine. i just think the c5/rd50s are wayyyyy radder
Nothing wrong with the PP Motor except the fact that you can't get cranks!
Cuperzacko, do you still have all the components of your C5? That thing was very complete when it left PA. I think it even had the last of the new rear fenders on it.
