need help buying in col. ohio area

"i saw this ad in my local paper by this guy trying to sell his vespa concorde i think, for some reason i can't access the website anymore, but anyways he says it runs and he'll sell it for $200. Should i buy it or wait for another brand? i'm new to mopeds and my friend has a mobylette. so do i keep surfing the classifieds or call this guy about the vespa?"

By all means, call on it and check it out, but you should be able to find a used moped in the same dollar range. In general, it is easier to get parts and service for something like a PUCH or Tomos moped as opposed to a Vespa or Peugeot.<p><br>"

"while i can't attest to the reliability of cadillacs, thanks for your opinion. :) i'll look for a used puch around somewhere.<p>: Here's my opinion- I think that PUCH is the cadillac of mopeds - in a good way. Great ride, great quality, and great reliability, and classic good looks. I have read about the 70cc kits, and the kit itself will not make the 'ped faster, but it will give quicker acceleration. To go faster, you can then install ""taller"" gears which can allow a moped to reach speeds over 40mph.<p><br>"
