I have a maxi with the twisted out intake for the sha carb. I also got the "k&n" mesh air filter. That filter is restricting my air too much. I've downjetted and still itbogs out at like 25 mph. But when I take thefilter off I'm doing atleast 35. I was jw if anyone else is having an issue with that setup? And which air filter you guys would suggest is the best one for the sha.

Well it runs awsome without a filter but with the metal mesh on it bogs out at like half throttle. I've already down jetted and I don't wanna be too lean. Originally had a 67 in it and put each in down to a 64 and all three sizes worked awsome that first day. Then the next day it just would 4 stroke at 25.
The metal mesh filter is 4 layers of mesh. Take a needle nose and peel off two layers...voila!
