Ok, For some reason, I got the urge to completely take my moped apart. Well I have it back together for the most part, except for the wiring of the rear turn signals and tail light. Is it possible to for something to get messed up if I connect the wrong wires and try to see if it works? Or do I need to get it right the first time? Someone please help. Thanks.
should be ok, nothing will explode, if that's what you mean. but it might not start or get spark if the wires are wrong. just keep trying until they work.

also, what kind of moped do you have? someone might be able to tell you how to wire it if you give that info.

Invest in a cheap test light. If you can remember or determine which wire fires the plug, the rest will be a snap. The best way to find the hotwire for the coil is to turn off all the accessories such as lights, etc, and test each wire as you kick over the engine. If you have an ignition switch, use it to double check such wires if one or more light up. Best of luck...
