I was wondering that same thing. my stock ignition came with 3 wires
Blue seems to be ground. White/red is headlight, white/yellow is tail light.
weird. why not one wire for both lights? glad you figured it out though.
Not sure. They might be designed to go in to a regulator/rectifier and then be combined to produce 12V DC?
I have one that had turn signals and the wiring is a real mess. I am going to replace the entire harness and simplify someday..
Turn signals would be rad!
Help i looking for a hold Honda 1975 .. :D
Hey all, just picked up a start v motor that's getting rebuilt. I got a dumb question. Why does it have starter springs behind the clutch? I ask this because the kick starter turns over the crankshaft directly.
You can push start it if you can get it going fast enough.

Thank you!
I was never able to push start mine ever. You seriously would have to be going 30mph to get the starter clutch to engage.
So do you guys remove them all together?
I removed mine.
I have a rear pulley that actually doesn't have the bell portion for the starter. I swapped over for a race clutch and didn't notice, so my starter clutch exploded all over my shed.
Basically what I'm saying is I ended removing mine too.
Tommy, which clutch/pulley are you running?
It's an oversized rear pulley, no idea what it's from, and the malossi tuneable clutch from treats
Oversized rear pulley is probably from a Derbi manhattan/hunter scooter. Did you get it from max in Iowa?
nope dos cycles rare secret found in a pile inventory
@ Russell, that motor is here in New Orleans on Eric from MONO's Start5
Glad that clutch is being used,it came off a wrecked scooter I parted out.
I still have the six roller variator and the cdi if anyone wants to trade for flatreed stuff
Tyler, do you know what pulley that is off of? did you have to do anything to adapt it?
Anyone have a video of their Revo acceleration with a metrakit?

I need the cdi if you still have it.
