it can be done but it ain't easy. you'll have to true the back rim, cut and close the vent on the left side, take off the coil and cut a chunk out of that angled indention and weld in a new flat piece, take off the kick stand or make a new one, and cut out some of the lower air box and replace it with a piece that is concaved in. the reason for all this is so the tire moves forward enough to have the correct belt tension. the 2.75 and 3 are taller also, so it will rub unless pulled all the way back. then, if you have a new belt the driven pulley on the rear will be open some and you'll lose low end.
