Fred, I have 14 yr old neighbor's moped that his cousin gave him. The cousin left it outside uncovered for 2 years. I have to pull the flywheel off when I get a puller. The shoes and brushes are coated with what appears as rust. What should I be aware of when I pull it off. I'm sure it's keyed, but is there a key-way with a separate key, or what. I know it's a press-fit to put it on again. The flywheel is all rusted, so I can't even see any letters or marks until I clean it off. What would you suggest to get the rust off the fly-wheel? Any input you can give me would be appreciated.
