Can anyone tell me how to check the timing on my 86 spree. The only marking I see is a red ink 'E' that has been stamped on the flywheel housing and an engraved arrow pointing counterclockwise. I'm not getting any spark and I have replaced the ignition coil/plug wire. Please help.

Consult Fred's message titled "How To Fix Your Moped". Use the cigarette paper technique to set your points (timing)--it's the most primitive method, but also the most accurate. You might want to make sure your points are nice and clean.
Call local Honda motorcycle dealers and ask them if they can get you a set of new points --they should be able to. New points should cost you under $10.
