get a piece of metal for, lets say, putting up ceiling joists. cut it, drill it. put it where your shocks are. attach plate

would put up pics, but its raining its ass off so i didnt ride to work.
yeah, I used a piece of angle G10 and bolted it to the bottom of my seat, not to far back though- or it will hit the wheel when the shocks compress
anyone have any pictures they could post? i didnt see where the plate is jesse

do you happen to have a pic of how this would work. im trying to wrap my mind around it and going nowhere. does the plate show to the back or to the side?

is there a law stating that the plate needs to face backwards?
I believe only FL requires it to be horizontal, but I would double check your state laws just to be sure.
If that's the case ... there's always a horizontal shock mount plate holder. Another option I did was zip tie or drill a hole in your plate to mount on the top hole at the rear of your seat, where the storage box bolts up to.
