I've got a single speed Ciao that top's out at 26 mph. My sister has a Bravo w/ varible speed transmission that can hit 35 mph. What can be done to increase my speed at reasonable cost?
Re: Vespa mopeds Bravo and Ciao

Get a Bravo or Grande! Seriously.
The Ciao is intended to be a minimalist getaround bike. The Bravo and Grande with their Variable Transmission and larger carburetors and less restrictive exhaust are more suited to the real world. I love my Grande and am working on a Ciao to have the best of both worlds!
If you can find the 30MPH muffler and the larger carb jet (I don't know the number) it would speed things up a bit. Also I found that the Ciao's air filter has three holes in the wall before the element, while the Grande's has six.
Expect slightly lower gas mileage.
