The last major redesign was 2016, which is basically the layout you're viewing now. This thread is referring to a previous redesign back in 2009. This website has been around for ~23 years, so it's been redesigned many times, both major and minor.
Much of this history can be found in the news archive, but I should probably make a wiki page that chronicles the major design updates over time.
