just wondering, is there is a lansing group that meets for rides? I know there is no chapter but i was hoping a small group or other interested in getting something together.

just go out riding and see if you can make a sighting. catch them if you can and make friends. if you are really desparate then make flyers and hang them up around msu campus i guess.

yeah, I'm living in East Lansing right now going to school at MSU, me and three others I know have mopeds. I've seen others on campus as well but its getting to be that time a year were you wont see them until spring. I've seen 3 tomos's, 1 kinetic, 2 puchs, and 1 express. my roomate has a sachs hes workin on and my other friend has a couple hobbits, and I have one of the tomos's.

Couple of us in Owosso. I used to live in east Lansing a couple years ago and moved for work. Would love to get together for a ride. I've got a 30 mph qt50 and I'm a few weeks away from a faster puch.

Couple is a major understatement! Owosso is loaded with riders.

You know everyone always says that but I dot know if many people are "into" it. I see lots of people cruising on expresses and qt-50's but I rarely get the nod from them. I saw one guy a street over from my house with a decent looking Tomos but he acted pretty grumpy when I tried to start a conversation. That said, i have heard a few rippers off in the distance and ive seen a quick QT50 on M-21. As for the couple of us I referenced the only people I can speak for from Owosso that would be interested in cruising with a group are my friend and I since we don't know any other riders, would totally be down for meeting up in Owosso or Lansing though. Anyway if youre in Owosso keep your eyes out for a red QT-50 and if you happen to see one with the rider wearing a dog papoose on his chest with a black pug in it, that's me.

I agree. For most people, moped and scooter are interchangeable, and just transportation. Maybe just low-grade transportation. Or maybe just weird. But I get a kick out of mine.

I just bought my first moped and I love it! I'm working on getting my fiance 1 so that we can ride together. When we get around to taking a ride just for fun we'll have to ride up toward Owosso. I'll post on here when and where and see what happens.

The majority of Owosso riders are styling nopeds and they only ride once in a while. We used to have rides on sundays but a lot of riders have families now so thats their priority. Also a lot of people do the bicycle rides now. I was thinking about starting a facebook group to try to get everyone doing organized rides again cuz there i know of atleast 100 pedders in owosso. Our town festival was a couple weeks ago and that was the first group ride we had in a while. Well off to start the facebook group.

Ryan, sounds rad, I'm kinda doing the same thing. Building up a fast(er) PUCH for myself and then handing off the QT-50 to my girlfriend so we can go for some rides.
Trent, I know what you mean about families my friends from Lansing are all doing that thing now. I was at Curwood(it is a silly place...) for a bit and we went for a ride over by the skate park for a bit while it was going on but we had some serious work to do on the PUCH that night.
If you start a FB group post the info here, I'll join for sure.
