Been sweet riding weather, so I been slipping into the garage here and there work on the Trike to FINISH the flatbed array, only downside is that it's pretty shoddy work, considering it's being done on a time-critical basis without the proper tools or parts.
Anyhow, it's actually DONE, now, all but one piece... I cannot by any stretch of the imagination cut the backplate which'd go next to the rear shocks since I've wiped out the only hacksaw blade I have right now - but the tailgate is hinged, and drops like a pickup trucks.
I cut ALL that wood with just a bare hacksaw blade, not even a hacksaw, just the blade, and collected my own share of nicks and blisters doin it too - but I wanted it done, and done NOW, soooo...
The tail light is now mounted to the cargo rack, which I didn't remove cause I needed somewhere to put the damn thing.
FYI - tail light wiring for Targa, Left to Right from the back of the assembly is GREY/BROWN/GREEN, in that order.
It's not "done" - done, but done enough to carry some cargo back from the Apt to the house with it, and it's back in legally operable shape, with new registration sticker for the left rear fender, and good enough for the moment.
And just as I get it finished, the weather goes blah again - and I missed two REALLY nice days of ridin weather here, suck city indeed, but that's ok, I found my tire chains while I was workin today, and there's SNOW on the horizon !
Ho, Ho, Ho ! - maybe I should carry a bag of salt or cat litter in the flatbed in case I happen upon a stuck SUV, eh ?
Mwaaahahahahahh, I can't wait.
