Lowest-Speed Chase in New Zealand Ends Without Incident

By Mike Spinelli, 1:14 PM on Mon May 9 2005, 68 views

Overzealous Police in New Zealand employed several patrol cars and a helicopter in pursuit of an 18-year old electrical engineering student who had been riding a borrowed moped without a helmet. The 12-minute, low-speed pursuit ended in the man's arrest on charges of charges of driving while disqualified (no license?), failing to stop and unlawfully taking a moped.
