now i know why tomos rear wheels are always black.
also it sat for a few weeks without running. techno circuits fill up with oil i guess.
its a busted seal. there is a post on mra, and the tomos repair forum. simple fix from what i hear.
ill bet your gas tank was lower when you started it than when you parked it. leaking thru carb, into cyl, and into exhaust. defective petcock, or not turned off, and/or carb needle valve
My circuit pipe always seemed to collect more oil than any other pipe.
hmmm, that would explain the wet sparkplug while checking for spark.
o rly?
could be oil injection giving to much oil, u mixing to rich on the oil, or a multitude of other things. my fa 50 used to do that when i got an expansion chamber ,but not as bad, until i took off the oil injection.
You have a bad crank seal.
damn... i have black wheel syndrom too but not to the point where i can see it spew shit
both my tomos have black wheel syndrom. if i had a garage they would be fixed this winter.
It's not black wheel. That's the wrong side.
Also, it's probably a busted seal. If the petcock was bad, and it's probably not, and your engine was full of gas, it would take forever to start and it would sputter and idle low and feel like metal on metal for a while.
Mine does that if I leave the petcock on for a day or two. Feels dry almost.
everyone says busted seal. what seal? there are a few of those things on a moped.
in the drive sprocket theres this little oring lookin seal. mine went bad so i had to take my engine apart and redo it but it left black oily gritty junk all obver my back wheel.. pretty gross
I've also noticed first hand that Tecnos like to collect the dinosaur goo. I think the smoke you see is the excess burning off.
I'm not jumping on the seal bandwagon.
