I just got a moped for the first time. I used to drive motorbikes, but hey mopeds are a lot of fun
I have a Malaguti Phantom 50cc. And I have questions.
Please can you tell me what the ratio is for 2 stroke oil. I don't have a manual or anything.
Also, I bought it second hand and don't know if it's Air Cooled or Liquid cooled. Can you tell me how to find out.
If someone has a manual for this I'd be much obliged.

You have a scooter, not a moped. Scooterbbs.com will be better for you to get answers from in the future. Many people here have both but we deal with true mopeds with pedals on this site. That said, you don't need to worry about mixing ratios since yours has auto oil injection. It mixes it for you. Just keep the oil tank filled with 2T oil. It's also liquid- cooled.
100:1 is a good ratio for most scooters.

Thank you so much for that. I thought it did (as there was an oil port beside the fuel tank) but wasn;t sure as I've never had a 2 stroke before. Back in Ireland I had Honda 4 strokes (CB 400 and RVF 400RR)
