Just kidding. As long as your chain has some slack you are ok. If you have rear suspension, compress it unitl the two sprockets and the swingarm pivot all line up. This is the maximum distance between the sprockets. If you are working alone, use a tie down or something similar to compress the suspension. Then spin the back wheel slowy and watch the chain. If it has a tight spot, replace it or back off on the adjusters a bit until the tight spot has a little play then live with this adjustment for the rest of the chain.
