Holla

This is my first post, so, welcome me or whatever?

Now that we're acquainted, let's talk about the 'peds. I picked up a 79 Vespa Grande for cheap, but it's not running (I was told), but once a battery comes in diagnosis starts! It looks promising, but a Kansas title is probably a problem for Cali, right?

How much of a pain will this be to have transferred? I also have a valid, out of state license but not a M2... which I read I should have, somewhere. True?

Also, should I wait until after getting the Moped registered in Cali to put any kind of kit on? I think it would just raise less questions from the five-0...

Anyway, I can't wait to get this thing moving!

let me tell you this...

having a cocaine addiction is cheaper

and easier to get your fix

Re: Holla

you have the title thats the important part not having it is when its a bitch

Re: Holla

I think I'll get my fix (for now) once it's on the road as a daily driver!

Any members of the Army from Monterey?

Re: Holla

1. Just ignore the Kansas title. Download and fill out the DMv Form Reg230, fill it out and send it in with a check for $18.00 and tou will get a Calif. title and a new plate.

2. Yes you need to have a Class M2 license (as a minimum)

3. You also need to have insurance.

Re: Holla

welcome

i would get it running then go performance unless if you actually have a clue what u r doing

Re: Holla

I won't be putting performance parts on right away unless I am going to have the engine apart for another reason (rings etc.)

Silverfox, the M2 can be picked up without doing the ride right? Just take the test and you're good? I assume they'd prefer a license in hand before riding the 'ped to the DMV, but this is Cali. Thanks for the rest of the info, it will be very helpful.

Oh, when did insurance come into the picture... bah oh well, I'll get it done right to avoid a ticket.

Re: Holla

Well, it's running! All it needed was a spark plug and a battery!

Next step should probably be turn signals, huh?

Re: Holla

no groms no blasters /

in california, you gotta pass the written test. then when you pass the test, you get the permit. after you get the permit, then you take the skills test. you gotta get the permit first.

in this country, you gotta get the money first. then when you get the money, then you get the power. then when you get the power, then you get the women.
