Recently purchased my 1st moped. Its a 1978 Honda Express. Was wondering what all I can do to thing thing to run/look better. I have zero experience in the moped world, just cars. Carb won't idle, and is leaking fuel at the on/off tank switch. Was wonder if theres any good upgrade carbs I can go with.
Also, what are some good tires, brakes, and turn signals? Thanks

Hi, And welcome. Sounds to me the first thing you need to do is fix any and all gas leaks, you don't want to ride down the road in a blaze........post a pick of the spot where it leaks. draw an arrow is it a theraded conection etc.

You'll find that fellow mopeder are sometimes smart asses, but they are funny and mean well. About 90% helpful and 10% ball busters. So, sit back and enjoy the ride in the slow lane, except if you have a kitted bike. Then you'll be in the sightly faster lane
Check it, first rule of mopeds... is that you dont call an express a moped.... "Hey kid, I'm a Scooottta"

Expresses are scooters in my book... sorry if you dont agree. A noped was formerly a moped, but it lost its kicks... haha.. I crack myself up.
