come on, as a species we totally suck... i don't think we even belong on this planet... we certainly don't deserve it. look at all the other creatures on earth, i don't think there's another species that comes close to fucking up this world like humans have. i honestly think we were put here by aliens.

you cant go back in time and give people technology and expect them to be able to progress faster because of it.

think about it.

in order for it to actually work that way, you would have to somehow transfer all of the knowledge and technology up to that point. reverse engineering is much harder. not only would they have to figure out how it works, but they would also have to come up with everything involved in making said technology, i.e. the machines used to make the individual parts, and the processes used to gather the raw materials. its actually possible that you could set everything back by doing that.
